BREAKING: NC State fires Kevin Keatts

11 months ago, Kevin Keatts strolled the sideline in the Final Four.

Today, he lost his job.

NC State decided to fire Keatts after eight seasons, in which he made the NCAA Tournament three times, and won 20 games five times. However, he has just a 69-84 record in ACC play, and hasn't finished higher than 6th since his first year.

The Pack needed a miracle run in the ACC Tournament to make the dance last year, one that probably saved Keatts' job, but one year later, following a 12-19 campaign where NC State missed the ACC Tournament, he's gone.
