Will Pruitt has played the most minutes of any player in the history of Lipscomb basketball.
And now, he'll play in the NCAA Tournament.
He scored 17 points, grabbed 7 rebounds, and dished out 3 assists, going 10-10 from the line, inclduing 2-2 to put Lipscomb ahead by five after hustling for an offensive rebound on his own missed three. His game - along with 23 from Joe Anderson, 14 from Jacob Ognacevic, and 16 from Gyasi Powell - pushed the Bisons past North Alabama 76-65 in the ASUN Championship Game.
The crowd at Lipscomb's Allen Arena in Nashville was electric, and Lennie Acuff's team delivered. Acuff is in his sixth year at the helm of the program, and has been very successful, winning 20 games in each of the last three years, and having a winning conference record five of six years, but this marks his first NCAA bid.
It's just the second time ever that Lipscomb - which joined Division I in 2001-02 - is going to the NCAA Tournament, joining Casey Alexander's 2018 team.
The Bisons are seeded on the 13 line on the most recent edition of Brackets, Bubbles, and Bid Stealers' Bracketology.
