No team in the country has more fun than Omaha.
Every time the Mavericks win, they find a creative, new way to beat the everliving crap out of a trash can.
And on Saturday night, thanks to St. Thomas' win over North Dakota setting up a Summit League final between the ineligible Tommies and Omaha, the Mavs are going dancing.
However, the first words uttered by the Omaha team after seeing St. Thomas win on Saturday night?
"Let's win it anyway"
This team is not satisfied with the bid, they want to be double-Summit League champions. The Mavs won the regular season title in a shocking turn for a team that was picked eighth out of nine. Marquel Sutton won Summit League Player of the Year, and Chris Crutchfield executed one of the most impressive coaching jobs of anybody all season.
The Mavs defeated South Dakota in the Summit League semifinals on Saturday 100-75 led by 30 points from junior Tony Osburn.
Omaha is likely to be a 16 seed in the NCAA Tournament.
