Here's a look at some of the storylines from last night in college basketball, at all levels of Division I
Josh Hubbard's 38 points were not enough to drag Mississippi State past Alabama in Starkville. Chris Youngblood drained seven threes, and the Tide held on, 88-84
Saint Mary's pulled off the Husky - a 30-0 run - spanning the end of the first until the halfway point in the second half in a 67-54 win against Santa Clara. It was the first 30-0 run in a conference game since Prairie View did it against Mississippi Valley State in January of 2021.
UIC went into Peoria and absolutely demolished Bradley. The Braves started the game ahead 22-9, but over the final 33 minutes, UIC outscored the Missouri Valley leaders 84-48.
George Mason moved to 7-1 in the A10 with an overtime win over Loyola Chicago. It's the Patriots' best start in conference play since 2018-19, but it finished that season just 11-7.
South Dakota came from 15 points down in the second half to hand Omaha its first loss in the Summit League, 91-87. Dre Bullock scored 31 points.

Developing storyline:
Army defeated Colgate for the first time since 2021, and improved to 6-3 in the Patriot League. The Raiders dropped to that same mark. Army has matched its Patriot League win total from last season at the halfway point of conference play. The Black Knights - who have never made the NCAA Tournament - are one game back of first place American.
A game to keep an eye on tonight
Central Connecticut at LIU, 7 pm, NEC Front Row: The winner will take sole possession of first place in the NEC.
